Andy G.'s buddy icon is forthcoming

Why don't you start by telling us about yourself?

Name: Andy Grosenbach
Sex: Yes please! (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)
Age: 24 11/12
Bio: I was born and raised in Grinnell. I graduated from Grinnell High School in 1998 and went to college at AIB College of Business in Des Moines where I graduated with a degree in Travel and Tourism.
Wanting to pursue a career in travel, I signed on with Verizon Communications in Grinnell where I've worked for over four years now in the Quality Control/Training department for the Fraud Prevention Center.
I currently am going back to school at William Penn University in Oskaloosa to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Business.
In my spare time I enjoy hanging out friends, playing golf, surfing the net, playing video games, and trying to be cool.

How did you initially find I Eat Paint?

Well, Matt was one of my best friends in high school and after college we kind of lost touch. I wanted to see what he was up to, so I Googled his name and wham bam thank you ma'am, I Eat Paint.

What's one thing about your job that most most people wouldn't know?

When I say I work for Verizon Communications, I don't work for Verizon Wireless. Seriously. While it's the same company, I work for a different division. So no, I can't get you a deal on a cell phone or know what the latest deal is. Sorry, I had to get that off my shoulders.

Recommend a book, a movie, and a song, along with a quick summary why you're recommending them:

Book - Blue Highways by William Least Heat-Moon
Fantastic story about one man's journey along the forgotten highways of America. It's filled with all kinds of great stories and it's just one of those books that is so hard to put down.
Movie - Due to the action shot, I'll have to go with Napoleon Dynamite.
Gosh! Idiot! Besides the obvious, I would also like to recommend Spy Game. I'm a sucker for spy thrillers and this one is one of my favorites; it actually made want to join the C.I.A., but I'm not supposed to talk about that.
Song - She Came Along to Me by Billy Bragg & Wilco from the album Mermaid Avenue
For Mermaid Avenue, the artists were granted access to the unrecorded lyrics of Woody Guthrie and allowed to create their own music. The song 'She Came Along to Me' is one of my favorites from the album because of the great lyrics and how the song really flows. Good stuff.

Now, a riddle:
A box without hinges, key, or lid,
Yet golden treasure inside is hid.
What kind of an egg is it?

One of those pickled eggs from Moe's Tavern.
"Everybody reach in and draw a pickled egg. Whoever gets the black egg
stays sober tonight."
Oh wait, that's a black egg, not a gold egg.
Is it an Easter Egg? Yes Regis, that's my final answer.

Pose a question suitable for this interview and answer it.

Dude, can I have some of your tots?
No, get your own tots. I haven't eaten all day. Besides, this picture is like a month old. Asking to eat those tots at this point is just not cool, man.

Finally, we hear you're quite the expert when it comes to movie making. Any tips for aspiring actors/directors?

Have fun, simple as that. If I put too much thought into creating a plot for a movie, I tend to lose focus. When you have fun and just shoot from the cuff, that's when you get the best footage. And don't worry about what other people think about your work; it's your vision, go for it! Also, make sure you have editing equipment - there's only so much you can do by hitting the rewind button on the camera and recording over a previous bad take.
