The Corn Maze Report
It's good.

So, we went to the corn maze on Saturday night, and it was a blast. Normally, I'm really bad at organizing things, but 17 people showed up, which was really cool. Turns out Olmsted Circle doesn't exist anymore, but people figured out to meet in front of the Olmsted Center.

I was a little miffed, as I found out from Misty that tickets were $8 instead of $6, but we ended up getting in for $7 a piece due to the enormity of our group.

The corn maze is never quite as incredibly fun as I remember it, but it's a great mindless activity to participate in with friends. Afterwards, we popped over to Perkins for hot chocolate, and then on to Fleur Cinema for the late showing of The Exorcist. Creepy.

Misty and I managed to catch Scary Movie 3 that night. Although it's not saying much, it's definitely the best of the three. It really was a funny movie. Go see it if you can.

Most of the group ended up heading off ot do things by themselves, so in the end, only 6 of us (Me, Liz, Diana, Maya, Amanda, and Markus) ended up going to the movie. Still, it was a good time...

I had so much fun at the corn maze! My favorite part was when, remember, when that guy was there and he had the hair, and then you, you, were walking, and that was really cool.

What do you mean there's no more Olmstead Circle?!?

 It's horribleMatt - Oct 28th, 2003 at 2:11 pm
There's no longer a circle, it's just kind of an open plaza, but you can't drive to it, as there are barracades back by Kirk.

That's not the half of it, though. They totally gutted and re-built the main floor of Olmsted; it looks like a bus station now. It's absolutely horrible. The second floor was left intact, and I'm told the basement is the same as it ever was.

And here you thought Drake had no money. Oh.. right, it doesn't. Funny how that works.

well, Poush, at least we got out of there before all this...
